Serial Number Help
The serial number decal for fitness equipment can be found on white or silver stickers located in specific areas depending on the type: for treadmills, on the frame near the power cord or base; for systems, under the seat or along the floor frame; for bikes, on the rear base frame, seat post tube, or under the seat; for steppers, on the bottom of the upright bar or main frame bar; and for ellipticals, on the rear main bracket, under the left pedal arm, or inside the bottom main frame under the pedal arms.
Where can I find the serial number decal?
Treadmills
Spacesaver Models:
Fold the treadmill into the upright position. There will be a white or silver decal located on the frame in one of the following positions:
- On the right side opposite the power cord.
- Inside of the upright base on the right side of the treadmill.
Regular Models:
The serial number may be located on a white or silver decal in one of the following positions:
- Below the power cord.
- On the right-hand corner at the base of the treadmill.
- On the left side frame of the treadmill where the upright mounts to the bottom frame at the base of the treadmill.
Systems
The serial number on a system may be located in two locations:
- On a white or silver decal on the main frame under the seat or the backrest.
- On a white or silver decal on the main frame along the floor.
Bikes
There are three possible locations for a serial number on a bike:
- On the base frame at the rear of the bike (white or silver decal).
- On the tube that connects to the seat post of the bike (white or silver decal).
- On the main frame under the seat (white or silver decal).
Steppers
The most common place to find your model and serial number is on a white or silver sticker on the bottom of the upright bar that holds the monitor.
You should also look at the vertical, main frame bar that lays parallel to the floor.
Ellipticals
The model number and serial number on an elliptical machine can be found in one of three places:
- On the main bracket at the rear of the machine (white or silver sticker).
- On the main frame under the left pedal arm (white or silver sticker).
- On the inside of the bottom main frame under the pedal arms (model and serial number decal).
